International Laboratory Network search

With the appointment of a new director of the Laboratory Network, the Strategic Technologies Laboratory Network has been upgraded to the National Laboratory Network

According to the Laboratory Network News Agency, Dr. Hossein Afshian, the Vice President for Science, Technology, and the Knowledge-Based Economy under the President, by decree, appointed Dr. Amir Younesian as the new Director of the National Laboratory Network.

 

In this decree, Dr. Afshian emphasized the collaboration with the headquarters for the development of strategic technologies and the headquarters for the development of the knowledge-based economy, as well as the expansion of sharing the existing laboratory capabilities and equipment across the country within this network and the facilitation of researchers’ and active industries’ access to the required laboratory services.

 

Over the course of 20 years of the Laboratory Network's activities in the country, researchers and industries have gained access to nearly 36,000 laboratory instruments housed in more than 1,800 laboratory centers in 137 cities across all provinces of the country, with over 3 million laboratory services provided annually.

 

Simultaneously with this appointment, the Laboratory Network—now called the “National Laboratory Network”—continues its operations and will expand its range of services and programs.

 

It is worth mentioning that, prior to this, Dr. Reza Asadi Fard managed the Laboratory Network.
